Please take time to carefully read through the information below.
In order to pre-register in any class you can either pay by check, credit card, or cash. In order to reserve your space you must submit a deposit of 50%. We ask that all classes be paid in full 14 days prior to the first day of class.
The Sawmill Center for the Arts will conduct every course for which a minimum number of students is registered. If the Sawmill must cancel a course, you will be contacted and a full refund will be given.
Students who cancel their enrollment more than 14 days in advance of the first day of the course will receive a refund of their deposit less a cancellation fee of $15.00 for five or four day classes, $10 for two day and $5.00 for one day classes.
No refunds of any kind will be made to students who cancel 14 days or less from the first day of the course nor shall any refunds of any kind be made to a student who chooses to withdraw from a course after it has begun. Students are welcome to invite a friend to take their place if they are unable to attend the class. However, that student will then be responsible for any payment due on that course.
Please remember that your withdrawal or transfer can cancel a class entirely
for the other students and that is why the above policies need to be imposed.
Phone inquiries about class availability are encouraged; however, all over-the-phone class registrations must be confirmed by a major credit card and follow the same procedures as in Pre-Registration Class Fee Procedures.
Material fees, if applicable, will be collected by the instructor
during the class. Please do not send payment for materials fees with your
class fees. A material list (tools/supplies) will be provided to all students,
unless all required materials are listed in the brochure, prior to the first
day of class.
